No! There are several 'Flavours' of Linux that are very easy to learn how to use for people used to the Windows Operating System. I aim to save you heaps of cash, by not forcing you to throw away a perfectly good Windows-10 computer just because Windows-11 has such high Hardware requirements...Also, there are many Online answers to your questions: Operating System Forums; Chat-rooms - ("I.R.C." or Internet Relay Chat); & "L.U.G.'s" - (Linux User Groups; N.B.: The WaikatoLUG has wound-up for now..., but there are many, many others throughout New Zealand & world-wide).

Approximately 1-1/2 > 2-1/2 Hours ...Depending on the Operating System & the Hardware. I charge a Flat rate of $NZ 100:00 - includes a Basic rundown on using the particular Linux Operating System 'flavour' I install.

That very much depends on the student. I will show you how to get info yourself off the Internet, for when I am not there... I charge $NZ 50:00/hour for training.

Yes! It is inherently safer than Windows - by design... Also the vast majority of Linux OS's are built & maintained by volunteers all around the world. It is based on 'Open-Source' Software, which means that the code & programs & apps behind it are scrutinised for faults by amateur experts world-wide. There are, almost, NO virus problems with Linux compared with Windows OS's on Personal PC's.
